Have You Seen the Summer 2012 MGC Newsletter? PDF Print E-mail

By now most people who attended the MGC Annual Meeting and Seminar on July 21st have filled out the evaulation survey we sent around. One of the most requested items was an update to the MGC newsletter. Despite all of the conveniences (bells and whistles?) of modern technology, with blogs, email, Twitter, Facebook, LInkedIn, etc., it appears that most of us just like to have a printed copy we can pick up when we feel like it, without having to turn on the computer.

We've had a pause in production for quite a while, but I'm happy to say that at the seminar we announced the Summer 2012 issue of the MGC Newsletter. In case you missed the seminar, you can find the newsletter on our website at www.massgencouncil.org under the Newsletters tab by selecting the Current Newsletter button. Give it some time to load, then save it to your computer and print it out.

For the past two years MGC has been very lucky to have a donor providing all print documents to us at no charge! And during this time, the cost of printing has been going up, up, up! We are now on our own for distributing information, and trying to turn more and more to the web as a means of distributing newsletters and information of all kinds. If we don't do this, we simply can't cover the cost with the modest dues we currently charge, and we have no urge to raise them! While we'd love to mail these newsletters out to everyone, we just can't. We will provide some paper copies at our board meetings for delegates to take back to member societies.

And on that note, if any of you have editing skills and would like to give us a hand, we're in dire need of volunteers! Please let us know if you can help.

Thank you!
